Texas vs. Cali; Whose gov't model is better?

The Economist asks what needs to asked, what are we going to do about the future. As far as fiscal governance is concerned, CA is an abomination (or is Obama-nation?). TX can weather THIS storm well, but unless it finds a way to fund the development of human capital (education), it can't be sustainable.

It's a great read.
